Description
[Jul 2007] One of my first proper goes at HDR. As my camera doesn't do RAW files, I have to take multiple exposures which caused the ghosting in this shot, which I quite like.

You certainly have guts doing 'manual HDR' with a compact!
I tried it once but got dodgy shadows, nice as pretty as your ones...
And yes, try just using one normally exposed shot and see what you get.
One more thing; the white balance is pretty important because it gets exaggerated in the process. Yours seems far too cold here, try a cloudy or shade WB on your camera next time.
